In response to the devastating floods in Queensland, Australia,
Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BFA)(NYSE:BFB) announced a commitment of
$100,000USD to the relief efforts. The commitment includes a mix of
monetary support to the government of Queensland, assistance to business
partners, and direct assistance and monetary support to the community
through the Brown-Forman Queensland state team.
Brown-Forman will provide a $50,000 monetary donation to the Premier’s
Disaster Relief Appeal and further in-kind contributions to the
Queensland Hotel Association Flood Relief Appeal and local community
fundraisers.
